Description
As they say, “No one can forget his or her first love,” as if it were like a bottle of wine: “The older it gets, the better it tastes.” But everyone isn’t fortunate enough to fall in love in the first place and end up living with the same person for the rest of his or her life. Instead of this so-called first love, most of us actually spend the rest of our lives with that last person who becomes “The Last Connection of Love” for all of us… Avika is a Delhi girl and the daughter of an IFS officer. She is someone who thinks the sky is the limit, yet she has firm ties to the roots of her values. She breaks up with her first love and goes into severe depression. She suffers another tragedy with her mother’s sudden demise, just two days before her 12th grade board exams. The “Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder” (PTSD) shatters her world, but she fights back to fulfil her mom’s last wish—to become a radiologist. She comes to Raipur to pursue MBBS at AIIMS. There, she meets Mansi and Viplav. When she was ready to move on in her life after three years of suffering, destiny played another cruel game with her, turning her life upside down. Though she has Mansi and Viplav as her best friends, she writes about her inner feelings in her diary. She is doing her internship and has many questions inside her that are still unanswered. There is a big void in her single life, but she believes what her mother told her once: “Avika, you might have so many questions in your mind right now and you might not be able to find the right answers today, but one day, you will get all those answers from someone. Nature has its own beauty to hide the right person from us until the right time comes.” Som is a Raipur-based debut author. He had been studying for the UPSC since 2014. He could not make it in his last attempt in 2019 either. He lost his confidence and went into a phase where he lost his connection with himself. To regain his confidence, he takes a break and writes a book about failure
